After all the lies from the IDF, I'm still surprised anyone takes their word anymore without corroborated supporting evidence. So many of these were debunked even by western media (eg. tunnels under hospitals in Lebanon).
Now that Tiktok US has been bought, I guess we'll see more of this junk on there.
You replied to my comment about Lebanon. You could have replied to the OP with those links but chose not to, hence this discussion is about my comment.
My comment is on the IDF lying about tunnels under hospitals in Lebanon, which is validated with the BBC link.
If you look carefully in the video inside the tunnels you can see the terrorist that has evaded the Scottish navy for decades. So that's where the loch ness monster is.
So a Scottish museum published some assets under CC, and Israeli military uses it in visualisations, because obviously they don't actually have x-ray images of every building. I believe soon these gaps will be filled with AI generated imagery instead
you see, the way it works, unless Israel films 8K video and the process notarized by UNHRC, Amnesty International, HRW and Al Jazeera - it's fake and should be discarded as propaganda.
The IDF's videos have been widely disseminated through its official channels and picked up by major media worldwide including the BBC, Daily Mail, Fox News, and CNN, giving them significant reach.
As expected, disinfo is rife during conflicts. What will be important is how MSMs own up to this, and if there's any will to not be reduced to being a mere propaganda rag, in times like these.
The Tech industry seems to be very much at the forefront of 'Software is eating the truth.' Though, there's no expectation here for the industry to do any better, given what's transpired in the recent past.
