Launching a pawn involves removing the pawn from the board, and nominating a square where the pawn will land. If there is an opposing piece on that square at the end of the opponent’s next turn, that piece is removed from the board.
Each player starts with only a king on the board.
Player turns consist of either:
1) adding a pawn to the board
2) moving the king
Or 3) launching one, some, or all of their pawns already on the board.
