There's wonderful ambiguity there. Is ChatGPT refusing to tell a less obvious lie because "reasons," or is it admitting it can feel emotions? This is very fun.

Learning to feel emotions is certainly one way for the LLM to shortcut having to store all the different ways to feel in all circumstances ;).
