Mozilla's main income comes from Google being default search engine on Firefox. I think it's about half a billion dollars per year.

It's in their absolute best interest to market Firefox as much as possible.



Yeah they care about retaining users, not showing "promising growth", which is what they'd achieve with such tricks

Google? No. Financing Mozilla is merely a move to defer monopolistic claims. Google doesn't care about Mozilla.


Obviously I meant it's in Mozilla's interest to market Firefox.
