My view: Twenty-eight more units would have required a technician to visit if the software roll-out had been completed. Potentially exponentially increasing the disruption to public.
Yeh, I'm guessing they were having problems with drivers doing a reset for any random thing they couldn't figure out.
But shit happens, you really need a way to get out of trouble.

The ability for the driver to recover was removed as part of the software update. (See, Appendix F, Cause point 8). Operators are a key stakeholder.Great technical report, would have loved to have had more information on Victoria line. Lessons can be learned from this report.
