Agreed. Handsontable is an amazing library, and I'm so glad that the author was able to take it "Pro" and get paid for all of his hard work.

If you like Handsontable, you may also be interested in Sensei Grid[0], a similar, but much simpler data grid component. It doesn't aim to be a spreadsheet/excel alternative, but just a data grid with good usability.

I second that. Having a very good experience with handsontable and planning to buy pro version more out of gratitude than for extra features
