Using this and Readability yield great results.

I find that Readability decides on the wrong bit of content sometimes. So use Printliminator's Option-Click to select what you want to keep and then run Readability to format it nicely.

I've taken a shine to TaskWarrior, http://taskwarrior.org/projects/show/taskwarrior/

Here's a 30-second intro: http://taskwarrior.org/wiki/taskwarrior/30-second_Tutorial

And a more comprehensive display of abilities: http://taskwarrior.org/wiki/taskwarrior/Simple

And combined with GeekTool, I've got a list on my desktop at all times. http://projects.tynsoe.org/en/geektool/

Send: @spam @<Account name of spammer>

Or you can directly message @spam

http://twitter.com/spam

Normally you have to be followed by someone in order to DM them. Note this is not true with the spam account. There's a special hack in the code to allow for this, so "d spam" away!

I'm going to town on my list. Thanks.

Funny - "Hey there, spam is using twitter!"

Take a look at what Jonas Boner is doing with Scala OTP: http://jonasboner.com/2008/12/11/real-world-scala-fault-tole... and http://github.com/jboner/scala-otp/tree/master

Stealing some of the great ideas of Erlang and re-implementing them in Scala.

It's so sad that we can still say "at least it's not as bad as Canada!"

We're becoming an embarrassment, but at least people like Michael Geist are fighting:

If you're looking to get into Lift Development, three of us (Derek, Marius and I) are writing a book.

You can grab the source here: http://github.com/tjweir/liftbook/tree/master

You'll need Lyx to build a PDF: http://www.lyx.org/

is there a regular build of the PDF to save those of us that do not want to fuss with lyx and latex?

There is one in the Downloads section: http://github.com/tjweir/liftbook/downloads

I'll build a more recent one asap.

There's no nightly, sorry :(

Here are two setup descriptions from Clojure guys: http://paulbarry.com/articles/2008/07/02/getting-started-wit...

http://bc.tech.coop/blog/081205.html

They are skewed to Clojure development, but you may be able to pick out a few tips.

"No, actually, I can't think of any way they're like Google whatsoever. Sorry."

You're right, they aren't like Google. Currently at least. From the quote he wants to become more like Google and foster a better community.

You're being a bit harsh.
