What is the fallout if OpenAI goes under?

First thing that comes to mind is musk will be absolutely insufferable and childish about it. A lot of companies will be impacted but it’s not going to happen. They are cleaning up their messes to go public

Eventually a new era of maturity and cost discipline.

A systemic risk to the financial sector due to their overexposure to CDOs? Yes, I know that's the same plot as 2008. The writers have gotten lazy.

Replace financial sector with big tech and overexposure to CDOs to overexposure to large promised data centers build outs and you have the right answer.

Ok yeah…

“Ms. Bondi is the latest administration official to move into heavily guarded quarters at military facilities in or near the nation’s capital after citing danger from criminals, adversaries overseas and protesters.”

But then…

“Other officials who have relocated include Stephen Miller, the president’s top domestic policy adviser and the architect of his hard-line immigration policy; Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Kristi Noem, the exiting homeland security secretary; and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.”

This doesn’t seem normal

> This doesn’t seem normal

All the other officials mentioned in your second quote moved months ago. Bondi may be new (dunno, can't open TFA, it's behind a paywall) but for the others it's old news.

Product Designer here. Even when I get an LLM to produce a novel UI with a good UX, I inevitably have to “shape” it.

This meant endless screenshots and descriptions back and forth to the LLM. Expensive in tokens and time.

I built Drawbridge to batch multiple context-rich (JSON Prompts) and screenshots for Claude or Cursor to process.

Hope this helps! https://github.com/breschio/drawbridge

Reads a bit biased to me, but alas I’m not an Oxford man like the author

Nice! Will check it out

I love the intensity of this. Cool idea. But where does the money go?

haha thanks. It's the apps form of making revenue coz it doesn't have any subscriptions or pricing cuz that kinda stuff pisses me off when I use other habit tracking apps. Maybe if it sees some success a portion of it can be donated to charity

This is sooo much fun!
