I was a very regular EyeEm user - I liked that it was not instagram and I just posted my fav clicks there and it was a really cool repository of my photo collection. I liked that there was not much social aspect to it. It was more around just discovering new styles of photography and getting inspired. Did anyone else felt the same?

So even if things become cheaper to run and faster to run there will always be a use case for a submodel?

that's a good one!

Very cool!

Should they have continued growing for a while before selling or was now the best ever time?

I feel like one of their primary investors wanted out. It was probably not the opportune time considering the cost of money right now.

Is there any reason to think the cost of money is going to improve at all in the foreseeable future?

well, yes, if Trump gets his way and gets a crony as the FED chair, interest rates will probably go very low

The federal funds rate is not directly tied to commercial interest rates. If Trump actually does get his way and begins cutting the over night rate, I would actually expect investors to demand higher yields on US treasuries and commercial bonds, given it indicates the federal reserve is likely to allow inflation to increase, possibly by quite a lot

Do you think the founders were strong-armed and are pissed at this outcome?

while not the most ideal outcome, the founders likely have large numbers of priority shares and will see a significant payout

Economy’s maybe at risk… see housing starts esp.

Automated fashion would be what I'm curious on.

If you’re to do it manually, what would it look like?

They were pretty good, I also used ChatGPT health that OpenAI released few days back which is said to be more grounded. So I wouldn't be too worried about hallucinations.

I always resisted looking at their website/doc with long list of numbers/tests. This was easier.

For now I want to do it just to be part of it honestly, I feel I do good rn fitness wise but by taking part in it I do see an improvement, then I wouldn't actually mind focusing on exceeding my current fitness goals.

But wouldn't you say gamifying it makes it less unpleasant and more interesting? But yes agree with your general thought on this.

For me, no, it makes it more unpleasant because now it feels like more of a chore, and I'll feel guilty about losing streaks, or dropping down in rankings, or whatever.

I exercise for myself, not for clout.
