It's only a recent proposal in the US, not law, if you're talking about what I think you are:

>>> Late January, the U.S. Department of Commerce published a notice of proposed rulemaking for establishing new requirements for Infrastructure as a Service providers (IaaS) . The proposal boils down to a 'Know Your Customer' regime for companies operating cloud services...

No, they do (unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying).

Framework laptops with 11th gen Intel boards seem to unofficially support it, and 12th-gen and beyond boards are officially thunderbolt certified. This applies to all four ports on the Framework 13.

If you're seeing something otherwise let me know, though!

Unfortunately, the BIOS update for the 12th-gen for full TB compliance has been in beta (and has known issues) for more than 6 months now, with no final release in sight. Most TB devices work fine without the update, though, from what I understand.

This setup works well for making any calendar host (fastmail, nextcloud, anything with caldav) work identically to native Google Calendar:

> Android does not support CalDAV natively, however you can easily add support by installing a CalDAV sync adapter. We have tested and recommend DAVx⁵, which is approximately $5. Once you have added your account in DAVx⁵, you can use the native Android calendar or any other calendar app and the changes will sync with Fastmail.
