I'm surprised I don't see Guayusa mentioned on HN at all.

I am interested! Quick research shows it's related to Mate, does it shares it's effects? I am interested in buying it, but lots of (local) stores that sell it don't have it in their inventory any more. To me it raises concerns over food security for the local populations of Ecuador and Peru. Quinoa comes to mind.

See Runa [0] :)

And subsidized!

Fixed!

Just saw your other carbs comment, I agree. I've seen first hand the great improvements with Keto, but it's a very difficult diet to get into with the subsidies carb-heavy foods receive.

The only reason I can see you being down voted is because you're not providing a constructive argument in HN standards against carbs. But you do make an excellent point. I'd like to add that in addition to the dental antropologist listed in the article [0], Weston A. Price [1] is also very well known for the role of agriculture (more carbs) in human dental change.

Yeah, I saw this and made an edit in the reddit post :P

Hey Matt,

Thanks for your thoughtful post I really appreciate this.

I'd say I'm quite proficient up to step 5 when it comes to object oriented programming like Java / C#. I'm actually trying to get advice on developing an android application, or well, any type of tutor for when I 'just get stuck' in a certain situation.

I've looked at some of the JS stacks and it's all very interesting and I can see a lot of creative potential.
