Oh I hate this so much. Driving in any rural area like Dorset it’ll suggest lanes you’d struggle to fit 2 bicycles abreast. They offer a ‘no motorways’ option but I’d love a ‘minimum double track’ or whatever.
I’ve done this for an app but not for nefarious reasons. A huge part of the app is location based and users would deny location permissions and then not be able to turn it back on (you can go through settings but an awful lot of people don’t know how). The soft ask is one time when your start the app (with an explanation as to why) and if you deny access there it’ll only ever ask again if you tap something like the ‘use my location’ button.
Trafford is 20 minutes walk from the centre of Manchester. Bolton (or Horwich as it now) will take you a couple of hours. Also Trafford has been Manchester for as long as the club has been there (and it was Manchester when it was Newton Heath).
Whether you support City or United has been a cultural thing going back 100 years. It kind of defines you and where you fit in. I know some people that have had season passes for City for 50+ years, passed down from father to son. It is totally part of their identity.
Been using it almost daily for overa year now and love it. Was previously on Netbeans which feels ancient in comparison (though I didn't mind at the time). Was well worth the small amount I paid/pay.
