The iPhone X, XS, and 11 Pro are all the same size. They rebranded the awkward middle size from XR to just 11.

Or at least almost the same size. It looks like the 11 Pro is slightly larger than the X, although thanks for pointing this out as I would not have otherwise guessed that.

You are not alone. Even ignoring the problems of Flash, most web players are so bad I much prefer to just pass URLs to mpv but ... I don't want them to be better, I want it to be easier to use external programs of my preference.

It is a common expression suggesting one isn't familiar with the ways of the site/community. You know, for humour.

For emacs, we have Rudel, which is even compatible with Gobby.

OS X uses Hunspell, an open source tool used by many. Maybe you should be complaining that Google aren't contributing to Hunspell or anything that might replace it.

Would you be surprised to hear that Google also uses Hunspell and has contributed to it?

Yeah... blame Google for Apple's shortcomings. Because Google is responsible for Apple's software choices.

OS X: Shortcat[1], Karabiner[2], Moom[3] (or similar), and the Shift+Command+/ shortcut to access the help menu to search app menu items.

Other *nix: dmenu[4], xcape[5]

I have checked out shortcat and it looks really promising.

Just use Karabiner to configure Return to do double duty as Right Control.
